Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for extracting actionable insights? We are looking for a Data Science Engineer to join our expanding data and analytics team. In this role, you will work closely with the Data Science Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions leveraging statistical analysis and business intelligence technologies, and potentially machine learning and predictive modeling (depending on experience and career growth).

Key Responsibilities:
- To develop advanced business intelligence reports for our customers. Such reports are based either on SQL Server Report Services technologies (both for on premise and online solutions) or Power BI. In SSRS, both T-SQL and FetchXML languages are used. For Power BI, both M and DAX languages are required
- Report design must follow best practices. Integration with Dynamics 365 (on premise or cloud) systems is often mandatory. Data modelling and cleaning is mandatory when developing Power BI based solutions
- Developing state-of-art solutions for chatbots. Such solutions are entirely on cloud, often integrate with Dynamics 365 and other live chat systems. They are based on cognitive services (i.e., machine learning algorithms) offered as SaaS by Microsoft on Azure
- Adopt (and if needed develop) machine learning algorithms to solve complex business-related optimization problems
- Develop robust and state-of-the-art pipelines for data movement (i.e. ETL pipelines), data synchronization, data warehousing
- Collect Requirements from business analysts and translate them into technical requirements for the actual implementation of the solution
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
- Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
- Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
- Troubleshooting the BI system
- Evaluating changes and updates.
- Training end users on new BI solutions (reports, chatbots, etc.)
- Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Be responsible and follow standard ethical conducts
- Take ownership over assigned tasks and be proactive in following them through, working closely with other internal teams
Who You Are
You are a proactive and analytical Data Science Engineer with a solid foundation in statistical modeling and a passion for delivering practical solutions. You are eager to grow your technical expertise while working in a collaborative environment.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
- Understanding of data modelling techniques
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows
- Effective communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English
Nice-to-Have Skills & Bonus Experience:
- Experience with SSRS report, fetchxml, Power BI paginated reports
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure ML, Azure Databricks)
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 or Customer Insights
- Proficiency in Python for data science (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy), familiarity with REST APIs and integration approaches
- Experience working with Git repositories
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Ideally, relevant certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI, Azure Data Engineer)
- 2–4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or similar roles
- Familiarity with industry-standard data management and analytics frameworks
